This series of gardening courses focuses on organic gardening in Boundary County, Idaho. It is sponsored by a nonprofit known as GROW!, or Gardeners for Regional Organic Well-being, that manages the community garden located on the grounds of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry, ID, as well as dozens of Little Free Gardens located throughout Boundary County. One of its missions is to provide education to support expansion of the local food system.

The Winter 2022 Series focuses on organic orchard production. The GROW! Community Garden is planting a 40-tree orchard expansion this spring, and will be using this activity as a hands-on educational opportunity for the community.

This course is open for donation to registered users through October 31, 2021. To register, please contact Jennifer Werlin with University of Idaho Extension at jwerlin@uidaho.edu.
