Vermont Master Composter Course -- for participants who live outside Vermont
This course offers an in-depth study of backyard composting. Participants interested in home, school, and community composting who take this course will learn about the many different ways to turn food scraps and yard trimmings into compost for healthier,
nutrient-rich soil. Registration for students who live outside Vermont is $150 and covers all course materials.

Vermont Master Composter Course
This course offers an in-depth study of backyard composting and covers the many ways to turn food scraps and yard trimmings into nutrient-rich compost. It is offered by the University of Vermont Extension Community Horticulture Program in collaboration with the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources.
We offer two tracks: Track 1 for Vermonters who'd like to volunteer in their communities and become a certified Vermont Master Composter, and Track 2 for individuals who'd like to take the course at their own pace and are not interested in volunteering; Track 2 is also open to students who live outside Vermont.
