This Proper Respirator Use course will help you understand when and why a respirator is necessary, how to safely and correctly select, wear and maintain a respirator, respect a respirator's capabilities and limitations, recognize and respond appropriately in emergency situations, and comprehend the medical signs and symptoms that may limit or prevent effective respirator use. 

This course is designed to take approximately 1 hour. For Utah residents, one (1) CEU credit is available after completion of the course.

This module will cover common respiratory hazards and diseases found in agriculture. The module also discusses how to reduce exposures and the use, regulations and requirements, and maintenance of the most commonly used respirators in agriculture.
