Cómo Utilizar y Manejar con Seguridad los Productos que Contienen Paraquat: 2022-25

TENGA EN CUENTA: este curso es para quienes toman el entrenamiento de paraquat por primera vez o renuevan su entrenamiento de paraquat dentro del período 2022-2025.

Aquellos que se certificaron con una versión anterior no necesitan tomar este curso hasta que expire su certificación actual: 3 años a partir de la fecha de su certificado. Una vez que tome este curso y reciba el 100% en la evaluación, recibirá un nuevo certificado por otro período de 3 años.

Las etiquetas de todos los pesticidas que contienen Paraquat requieren que los aplicadores tomen el entrenamiento requerido por EPA para usuarios de Paraquat cada tres años para mezclar, cargar, aplicar, o manipular de cualquier otra manera productos con Paraquat. Este curso en línea enfatiza cómo usar Paraquat de manera apropiada y segura.

Tomar el curso y el examen tiene una duración aproximada de 60 minutos.

Si usted ya abrió una cuenta en la página web de 'eXtension Online Campus' y ya entró a su cuenta, haga clic en el título del curso (arriba) para tomar el entrenamiento.

Si usted todavía NO TIENE una cuenta en la página web de 'eXtension Online Campus', haga clic en el botón “Continue” (Continuar) para ingresar a la página donde se puede acceder al curso. Desplace la pantalla hacia abajo hasta encontrar: “Is this your first time here?” (Registro como usuario) y haga clic en “Create new account” (Crear nueva cuenta). 

Cuando usted haya completado la información para matricularse (elija “NA” en la última caja para indicar que usted no es empleado gubernamental, de la universidad, o de una Extensión Universitaria), haga clic en el botón de “Create my new account” (Crear cuenta). Usted recibirá un email casi inmediatamente que dira: “Se ha solicitado la apertura de una cuenta en 'eXtension Online Campus' utilizando su dirección de correo electrónico. Para completar el proceso de inscripción, haga clic aquí, y cuando usted haga clic en el enlace, se abrirá automáticamente la página de “eXtension Online Campus,” donde usted puede dar clic en el botón de “Continue” (Continuar). Esto lo llevara a la página de entrenamientos con un botón que dice “Enroll me” (Matricularme). Haga clic en este botón y podrá comenzar a tomar el entrenamiento.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is for those taking the paraquat training for the first time or renewing their paraquat training within the 2022-2025 period. 

Those that were certified using a previous version do not need to take this course until their current certification expires – 3 years from the date on your certificate. Once you take this course and receive 100% on the assessment, you will receive a new certificate for another 3-year period. 

Paraquat product labels require applicators to take an EPA-approved training every 3 years in order to mix, load, apply, or handle paraquat. This online course reinforces how to properly and safely use paraquat.

You should expect to spend about 60 minutes on the course and the assessment quiz. 

If you already have an eXtension account and are logged in, click on the title a of the course (above) and log in to begin the training. 

If you do NOT have an eXtension account, click on the continue button below takes you to the log on screen. Scroll down to "Is this your first time..." Click on the "create new account button."

Once you have completed the required information in the form (select NA in the last drop-down box if you are not an Extension, University, or Government employee), click on Create my new account. You will then get an e-mail sent almost immediately that will say: A new account has been requested at 'eXtension Online Campus' using your email address. To confirm your new account, click on the link and it will take you back to the eXtension Online Campus site, where you can click on Continue. This will take you to the training page with a button that says Enroll me. Click on this and you can start the training. 


This course has a $25 registration fee.  NOTE: The NPSEC Board of Directors made the decision to charge a fee for the course because there is no longer any outside financial support to maintain, administer and deliver the course.
