Course Overview
The University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) Volunteer Orientation Course is a necessary resource for adult volunteers working with minors. In this course, you will learn CANRA guidelines, the Thriving Model for Positive Youth Development, and 2-Deep Supervision. These sessions are designed to provide important prevention and reporting strategies to keep youth throughout our programs safe.
Length
50 Minutes (Can be completed over multiple sessions)
- CANRA for Volunteers - 30 minutes
- Thriving Model of PYD - 15 minutes
- 2-Deep Supervision - 5 minutes
Who Should Attend
All UC ANR volunteers who work with minors throughout the system that are outside of the 4-H Youth Development Program.
