Fit and Healthy Kids: Tinkering in Early Childhood
Enrollment options
Brief Description of Training: Tinkering helps children to understand you have to fail a few times, sometimes many times, in order to get the right answer. It is a safe way for children to go through the process of trial and error – which is an experience that children need, to develop the kind of higher-order thinking skills necessary in our rapidly changing world.
As a result of this training participants will:
1.
Identify ways to share information with parents.
2.
Design environments to promote young children’s
learning.
3.
Plan
activities that encourage children to explore, discover, be imaginative, and use their senses.
