I am thrilled to be enrolled in this Spring's Master Gardner training.  I am a local MD girl who grew up in the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) and was a reluctant gardener as a child.  We had 12 acres and grandparents who planted yearly and were amazing gardeners.  I am a research nurse with the NIH by day and a walker, gardener, and hiker in my free time.
