Stroke
Stroke is a devastating disease with high morbidity and mortality and is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide, therefore studying the mechanisms of injury and neuroprotection in stroke is important for developing new and better therapeutic targets. Stroke models are used as basic tools for stroke research. They mimic to some extent the physiological and pathological processes of the organism.
