2021 Industrial Hemp Conference
Proceedings from the 2021 Industrial Hemp Conference held virtually on February 26, 2021. The conference included education and information sharing opportunities on industrial hemp including current research, basic agronomics, farmer
experiences with growing hemp, harvest and post-harvest considerations, legalities of growing, marketing and economics.
Topic highlights include integrated pest management, agronomics, feminized seed production, harvest timing, drying and storage strategies, product safety, farmer panels, and more. We also had a multi-state presentation on growing and processing hemp in the Northeast with state program speakers from Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
