Horse owners need to be proactive in developing and implementing a plan for handling and disposing of manure. To avoid or ignore the issue may be a long-term recipe for disaster to the horse industry. Manure management options will be discussed in this lesson in addition to various aspects of pasture management including planning, renovations, and grazing practices.
