The Beef Herd Health Management Calendar online course will teach producers to be sure they are 'doing the right thing at the right time' when it comes to carrying out management tasks such as castrating, vaccinating, dehorning, deworming, palpating, and others. Once the calving season is planned, herd health management tasks can be scheduled by use of the interactive calendar for specific dates to foster health and enhance productivity of the cow-calf herd and increase the economic efficiency of the cattle operation. Producers will learn how to 'do the right thing' through the help of 39 video and 72 print publications.
