Course: CSU Soil Health Management for Water-Limited Regions

The owner of this Badge successfully completed an online and interactive learning module, with quiz, which focused on an introduction to unique conditions of soils in water-limited environments. After completing this module's activities participants are able to: 1) Identify the limiting resource to raising crops and livestock in semi-arid climates, like the Rocky Mountain region. 2) Define soil health and describe five functions of healthy soil. 3) Describe five soil health challenges prevalent in the greater Rocky Mountain region and other water-limited regions.4) Recognize the connection between agricultural management and regional environmental issues. Program was funded in part by the CHS Foundation and Colorado State University.
